Why Warsaw?

Warsaw joined the fleet in 2025 in WAW1 in Wola, a district that spent the 1990s as a business park and now hosts a good share of the country's fibre. We plugged into PLIX, signed Arelion and Cogent, and measured the first hop to Prague at 6 ms — the shortest route to a neighbour that any new site had posted that year.

The site runs 0.3 Tbit/s of edge capacity at a 3 ms local median, with 10 ms to Stockholm and Vienna and 11 to Frankfurt. Warsaw is Central Europe without the detour: the part of the map that used to buy its hosting from Germany because no one else was selling, now with a local rack at the same price and one fewer border crossing for the packets.

Questions about Warsaw

The two answers people actually ask about this site, then the five we give everywhere.

This site

Warsaw or Frankfurt for central and eastern Europe?
Measure the users. Warsaw answers Prague at 6 ms and Vienna and Stockholm at 10; Frankfurt alone needs 10 ms to reach Warsaw. If your users sit between Berlin and the Baltic, the Polish node removes a German round trip from every packet — and Polish law covers data hosted in Poland under the GDPR, exactly like Germany.
Is Poland inside the EU for data-protection purposes?
Yes — Poland has applied the GDPR in full since 2018, so a Warsaw server carries the same data-protection regime as Frankfurt at the same price. What changes is the path: this site answers Prague at 6 ms and Stockholm at 10, which makes it a hub for its half of Europe rather than an outpost of Germany's.

Everywhere

Which region should I pick?
Measure, then read. Median RTT decides most cases: pick the site closest to the users you already have, then check the local law if that matters to your data. We do not charge a regional premium, so the decision is never financial.
Is the price the same in every location?
Yes. A Nano costs €1.90 per month in Frankfurt and in São Paulo. There is no regional pricing tier, no 'emerging market' discount and no 'premium location' markup to optimise around.
Can I move a server to another site later?
Take a snapshot, deploy the same image at the destination, restore, update the DNS. The console does not yet automate the migration end-to-end, but nothing about the price changes if you redeploy somewhere else.
Is DDoS protection included?
Standard volumetric filtering is always on and always free at every site. If you need application-layer scrubbing with custom rules, the Advanced tier costs €3.90 per month per server.
What IP addresses do I get?
Every server ships with one dedicated IPv4 and a routed /64 of IPv6, both announced from the site you chose. Additional IPv4s are €1.20 per month each, up to eight per server.

Payments from Poland

Orders from Poland are handled exactly like every other order: checkout in euros, payment in Bitcoin, Monero or any of twenty-four assets, and the server provisions on the first network confirmation. No card, no bank, no name that has to match one.

Pick a size, pick a site, pay in crypto. Moving later is one snapshot and a redeploy away.
