Because your broker's platform and most Expert Advisors are Windows binaries, and compatibility beats ideology when capital is at risk. Windows Server 2022 runs the MT/CTrader stack natively, and the licence is already in the price.
Which site has the lowest latency to my broker?
Whichever site is nearest your broker's matching engine — that is the honest answer, which is why the site choice is yours and the price is flat. Most EU-facing brokers sit in London or its metro, which is why London is the default recommendation on this page.
Can I run my VPS on the 12-month term and save?
Yes — the €16.50 figure is the 12-month rate, billed once (€198 for the year, licence included). The six-month term runs about 26% higher per month. Nothing renews automatically, and a renewal is never priced above the current rate.
Is Windows licensing really that simple here?
