Dubai, live since 2025, is in Dubai Silicon Oasis, a free zone that exists to make hosting companies feel at home — which is convenient, because building a middle-east site from Tallinn involves a lot of patience and one very long cable run. We peer on UAE-IX with Arelion and PCCW, and the first test traffic to Mumbai came back at 33 ms.
The site carries 0.3 Tbit/s of edge capacity — our smallest, and the one with the longest odds of paying for itself. The geography is the pitch: 41 ms to Istanbul, 82 to London, 87 to Paris, 91 to Frankfurt. The Gulf states, east Africa and south Asia all sit closer to this rack than to any European one, and the region's financial traffic has started to notice.
